Did anybody using eclipse elliptical machine have the calories expended are about 100 for fifteen minutes. I’m facing exactly the same problem. I take 24 minutes to lose 150 calories in program setting mode. Personally i think frustated. Can there be every other interpreation from the calories or perhaps is the reading through correct. Someone help me with my doubt.
I’ve the Nordic Track Adiostrider 800 elliptical mix trainer. The display “distance” is measured as a whole revolutions and also the “speed” is measured in revolutions/minute. The stride length is 18 inches.
When the distance states which i do 1200 total revolutions what lengths did I use miles? If my speed earnings 50 revolutions/minute how quickly am I moving in miles per hour?

Hello,
I intend to buy Elliptical trainer to be used at home. What is the best elliptical trainer as far as price and quality to purchase? Thank you.
I am a female, 5’2″, and weigh 119lbs. I worked out on the elliptical trainer for 45 minutes at level 5-8 intensity. The machine said I burned 506 calories. I worked out hard, but this still seems unrealistic? Every site I go to seems to think that height is not relevant when it comes to calories burned, which I don’t understand, so I would like other opinions. Do you think 506 calories is realistic?
I need to lose about 25 pounds to get down to a healthy weight, and eating less just isn’t doing it for me. My wife and I are thinking about getting an elliptical trainer. We’ve heard they are great for burning calories, and aren’t as odious as treadmills, but we know almost nothing about them.
I have a distance category on my elliptical trainer. It go in the hundreds or thousands when used. Now can anyone tell me what measurement it may be in and how I can calculate into miles when used? Thank you.

because i have a trouble with my knee, i have to switch using elliptical trainer. but later i found out that work out on elliptical trainer for 20 minutes is really way much harder than running 20 minutes. my heartbeats raise so fast during using that machine.
i thought i was going to explode, really.
i want to be able to exercise with elliptical trainer for 30 minutes, or even more. how to do it?
how to avoid soreness?
do i burn more calories using elliptical trainer ?
In calorie burn calculators, a person at a fixed weight doing either for the same amount of time appears to burn more calories on the elliptical trainer than jogging. Why is that? I feel significantly more spent after jogging than I do on the elliptical.

Recently I am planning to buy an elliptical trainer. I will be putting it in my bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor (wooden frame single house). Will the weight of my elliptical trainer (and mine when I am on it) damage the frame of the house??
