Till lately, the suggestion for infant seats was to help keep them rear-facing till one year or 20 pounds, whichever came 1st. Now, the National Transportation Safety Board suggests keeping kids rear-facing for two years, or as long as possible, because it will be the safest way to get a kid to ride in an automobile.

other wonderful comfort for the Snugride 30 is usually that it’s compatible with any Graco infant stroller. It’ll snap correct into any Graco child stroller or Graco base. This indicates fathers and mothers can strap a vehicle seat base into every car and not really need to be concerned about compatibility. Additionally they don’t require to acquire two vehicle seats for two totally different automobiles. The vehicle seat can take an infant from a vehicle towards the infant stroller and back into the vehicle with out getting to unbuckle and refasten a sleeping infant. It is that easy!

The only inconvenience from the Graco Snugride 30 vehicle seat will be the size and weight. It’s pretty heavy, which can get heavy to carry, and it’s fairly bulky to be able to accommodate bigger kids. For moms and dads who need to often walk longer distances using the carrier, it might be very difficult. You may well desire to think about placing it on the child stroller in case you have to carry it longer distances.

I am due every day now and I am looking to get my way through place! I presently own a Graco Quattro Tour Travel System – Kasbah. It’s beautiful and well-built but it is large and bulky. I understand you will see days when I wish to take something lighter. So essentially I’ve 2 options:

    1) Buy a lightweight stroller (for example Koolcraft Travel about) in which the infant chair won’t snap in.

    or

    2) Buy a Graco – SnugRider Infant Vehicle Chair Company Stroller Frame where all Graco infant seats snap in. The main problem with this particular choice is that there are no stroller following the child develops from the infant chair.

I’ve the Graco Infant Safeseat therefore it is bigger then your Snugride. Supposely, the Safeseat holds children as much as 30 pounds. Which option do you consider is the foremost solution? It’s very hard to get rid of a sleeping baby from the carseat to some stroller? I am a first time mother so I am unaware!

Is the Graco SnugRide 30 infant seat compatible to the older SnugRide bases? The base is only a year or so old

  5. Cecilia Osburn says:

hi we are thinking of buying the graco snugride 30 infant car seat..mirabella (2 since we are having twins).

I am wondering what the weight is without the base. I am assuming the base comes with it when you purchase it through babies are us. But the weight on their website shows 18.7 and I thought graco seats were supposed to be ‘light’. Is this weight including the base or without the base?

    thanks

My son is a year old and for his birthday we got him a convertaible car seat. I want to keep this carseat in Daddy’s car. My son is very tall and lean. He is 30 inches tall and only 21 pounds. SO he still fits in the car seat but his little feet hang out.
My question is how long can we use the infant carseat? I read the owners manual and it does not have weight limits in it.
The new one will last him until he is 80 pounds and 52 inches tall

    2) Purchase a Graco – SnugRider Infant Car Seat Carrier Stroller Frame where all Graco infant seats snap in. But the problem with this option is that there’s no stroller after the child grows out of the infant seat.

I have the Graco Infant Safeseat so it’s bigger then the Snugride. Supposely, the Safeseat holds children up to 30 lbs. Which option do you think is the better solution? Is is really hard to remove a sleeping baby from a carseat to a stroller? I’m a 1st time mom so I’m clueless!

Most of the reviews I’ve read for infant car seats that go up to 30-32 lbs. say that they are too big to fit into the top part of a shopping cart. Is this true for the Graco Snugride 32?

  12. Louisa Ellman says:

just wondering if i should get it for my newborn coming in September 2011, is it a “sweaty” car seat? Due to the fact that it has the black “fury” material on the side, cant really explain it…looks as if would get really hot during the summer….
